Change Now, a youth shelter located in Guelph, Ontario, was closed suddenly on June 15, 2007 as
the result of a Board decision. No notice was given to youth or staff. Interviews with former
staff members, youth, community members, and the primary funder detail the community's reaction during
the aftermath of the closure.

An indie film maker documents the life of an eccentric recluse who claims to be an
'ex-superhero'. Their friendship develops as the interview explores the chronology of the hero's
life. Together they question deeper issues: social norms, concepts of freedom, the social gap, and
emptiness found in the hearts of citizens. Finally their conversation turns to the subject of death
and transcendence.

Mr. Gloss escapes from rehab in an effort to save his dog from euthanasia. Thomas Benga is given a
chance to find Gloss and thus save his job. Thomas journeys through a day of misadventure, lost
in suburbia and becoming entangled in Gloss' history of dysfunction. They struggle
together through unfamiliar and hostile territory, navigating the distance between what they
hope to save, and what they can.
