The Multicultural Cinema Club, led by a professional director and producer Azam Fouk Aladeh, aims to create a culture of cinema club within our community by screening films, hosting discussions, creating artistic works, and encouraging community film-making in Kitchener-Waterloo. The Multicultural Cinema Club is not only for New Canadians. It is an open concept for anyone interested in artistic community projects.

    Come meet with the MCC equipment committee att 66 Queen Street South who will be deciding which equipment we need in our community, and where to find the best deals for buying it. Please attend if you are interested in helping us, your feedback is important for our committee.

  • Film Storyboarding - September 25, 2010, 9:30am to 11:30am
    This workshop covers storyboarding - the bridge that gets you safely across the gap between your script to your edit ready footage. An illustrated to do list for your movie, it helps you plan everything, from the title sequence to "The End" making sure you get all the shots you need in between.

  • The People's International Film Festival - October 5 to October 9, 2010
    This film festival features six award-winning films produced all over the world: The Secret in Their Eyes (Argentina, 2009), Turtles can Fly (Iraq, 2004), Fish Tank (UK, 2009), Lemon Tree (Israel/Palestine, 2008), The Stoning of Soyaya M. (Iran, 2008), and A Prophet (France, 2009).
